India's Auto Component Industry – An Overview

The total output of the automotive component industry for the financial year 2006 was nearly €9.4 (US$14) billion with a growth of 15% compared to the financial year 2005. According to a report by AT Kearney and ACMA, the domestic auto component industry is expected to grow by 15% a year through 2012.
